Inspire Intern

I am one of two interns at Lutheran Children and Family Services (LCFS) that works with their INSPIRE program. The internship consists of me working virtually and in-person at The Sharing Place, a food pantry. I work virtually with INSPIRE to expand, enhance, and contribute to the program. Currently, I am developing multiple resources to provide to families in need. Some resources include financial assistance, legal aid, and job aid. Secondly, I am currently working on an excel sheet that provides the demographics of the families involved in our program. The end goal for my current project is to develop flyers full of free resources that can assist families or individuals in need. The other part of my internship is to represent our program, INSPIRE, at The Sharing Place. I help individuals collect their food and provide them with a program flyer. The goal is to introduce more families to the free resources available. Currently, we are exploring new ways to introduce the program to clients at The Sharing Place. I hope to introduce new solutions to enhance the program and provide new resources to families.
