VDC Intern
I am interning at Shiel Sexton which is a construction firm downtown. As of now, I am responsible for putting in the king studs on each floor of a new building that is being built at Purdue. I am also responsible to answer any phone calls for my supervisor. The project is a new science building for Purdue. Another job I am responsible for is making sure there are no clashes with plumbing and pipework in the project which is a tedious job but it takes a lot of patience. I use programs I have used in school like Revit, Navisworks and BlueBeam.
