Muscle Hypertonia Treatment in Premature Infants: Is diazepam the right drug of choice?
With this study, we seek to 1) characterize the factors associated with diazepam use in premature infants after being chronically ventilated, 2) assess whether its use is effective in improving muscle tone post-discharge and 3) determine whether any predictive factors exist for duration of treatment with diazepam.
