Healthy Eats to Your Seats

During our research, we found that visitors want to bring healthier options for their kids because there are no on-campus options besides the unhealthy reality of the concessions. The hassle of bringing and preparing these healthy alternatives from outside the campus can cause parents time restraints and stress before leaving for the tournament. Our group believes that Grand Park needs a way to provide these essential items in an accessible manner because parents do not want to miss out on their kids' game, and athletes need a quick bite to eat to be competitive. We want to implement a ghost kitchen concept that uses the resources already installed at the cafeteria to transform it into the hub for the creation and distribution of healthier food options. Hired cooks can make and supply the desired food that athletes look forward to in between or before games. Simultaneously, with the convenience of a mobile app, users can smoothly order these items with the click of a few buttons. The distribution of these items will rely heavily on the use of autonomous robots that deliver them straight to a parent’s seat so that they don’t have to miss the action on the field, and the athlete can quickly recover for the next game. With Healthy Eats to Your Seats, Grand Park will reimagine food and beverage by transporting healthy meals and snacks straight to parents and athletes. We are the future of DoorDash for your tournaction experience.
