Exploring Partnership Potential: Museum Studies and Circle City Clubhouse
A new course entitled “Museums, Health, & Well-being" examines the intersectionality between museums and social service agencies and explores the potential of partnerships between these two institutions. The course partners IUPUI students with members of Circle City Clubhouse (a community mental health service agency in Indianapolis) to work collaboratively and improve Clubhouse using a combination of museum theory, shared learning experiences, and asset-based engagement.
