10 Years of SOPHIA
The Society of Practitioners of Health Impact Assessment (SOPHIA) celebrated its 10th year. To commemorate this milestone, SOPHIA leaders completed a survey reflecting on the history of HIA, SOPHIA’s formation, key SOPHIA accomplishments, and future priorities. Key CEA Scholar responsibilities included assisting in survey development as well as documenting and interpreting results, writing a peer-reviewed article titled “Ten Years of SOPHIA,” facilitating a breakout group during the 2021 HIA Practitioner Workshop, and serving as a peer reviewer for other articles in the Chronicles of Health Impact Assessment, an open access online journal.
