Hoosiers Reading Frederick Douglass Together

Hoosiers Reading Frederick Douglass looks to engage with the public through reading and discussing the most memorable and iconic speeches from abolitionist Frederick Douglass. This program works with state parks and libraries to hold public readings and discussions. Another aspect of the program is working with public schools around the city to create lesson resources to be used in secondary education classrooms. We look to focus on creating resources using culturally relevant teaching practices and universal design in order to meet the needs of all learners of every age.
