Client Engagement Internship Summary
No matter what background story a person has, every human being wants to feel loved, be respected, and have a sense of security. My role as a client engagement intern for Pando provides me the opportunity to fulfill the needs of young adults starting back on their feet. As an aspiring social worker, this role challenges me to sharpen my interpersonal relationship skills in a professional setting. Under the supervision of the peer support specialist, my daily task includes organizing events for residents to express their concerns, recording one-on-one meetings with peer support specialists, revising the handbook of the Pando council, and much more This experience made me realize my love for people and being a part of someone's progress to success.
