Client Engagement and Community Programs Internship Summary

For my internship, I worked in a program called PANDO. The program provides apartments and other resources to individuals 18-24 that came from foster care and homelessness. I am an asset to the company because I focus on the pantry and making sure that things that need to be done will get done. My work has helped benefit the company because it is helping to feed and help people in need. This internship experience was not my exact desired career choice but is has taught me that I am on the right path for what I want to do of working with people and to someday be a therapist. This internship taught me very valuable people and organization skills and was my first job working in a professional setting. For a long-term goal, I will make sure to take good opportunities that come my way, no matter how intimidating they may appear. This can really benefit my future career plans and help me to get on track for my career plans.
