Administrative Internship Summary

I have learned and accumulated so much knowledge about insurance that I didn't have before. My duties were to either make calls to current customers to set up appointments for my colleagues or I would make sales calls to get quotes going in hopes for a policy. Also, I arranged a couple give back events where we set up a box for donations for the Humane Society took the workers their breakfast. I feel as if I was an awesome asset to the company due to the goals I hit and the work I put in. Once I called 100 people which was the goal assigned to me. I was also a great help in appointment setting. I know I can work in insurance which is very reassuring that I have the as an option when I graduate if I ever wanted to continue. I learned that aspects of sales make me come out of my shell more and going out and approaching people is not my preferred working experience. I have also grown to be more comfortable making phone calls to people. My experience inspired me to go in a more law-oriented career path considering all the legal aspects I saw in the insurance business.
