Studying the Relationship Between Temporal Patterns and Sensory Detection Via Spinal Cord Stimulation-Induced Artificial Sensation in Rodents

The generation of artificial sensations using electrical stimulation of the spinal cord allows rats to be trained to perform a binary task in an operant conditioning chamber which gives an understanding of how the rats perceive and learn the stimulation and how these types of sensory experiences may be used in the medical field.
