Development of a high sensitive magneto-optic Kerr effect apparatus for spin crossover molecules study.

I created an apparatus to measure hysteresis loops of various thin magnetic films. I did this by taking advantage of the Magneto-Optic Kerr Effect (MOKE). My project covers the design of the electromagnets used in this apparatus, as well as the design and alignment of the lasers/various optical elements. Finally the project covers some data generated from this setup.
